The Brief

James Ray are a newly established recruitment agency, based out of Beverley, East Yorkshire. They required a website that would allow them to:

  • Post new vacancies
  • Receive enquiries about vacancies
  • Have an easy-to-use contact form
  • Show off their brand in the best way.

The Work

After a meeting with the branding team, the colour-schemes and fonts were agreed. This website used a deep blue as its main colour, helping to convey the professionalism of the company. Blue is often associated with brands that want to convey trust – something that is very important when people would like the company to handle their work situations.

Following this, a prototype layout was designed and approved by the team at James Ray. Specifically, the design:

  • makes use of white space, to avoid overcrowded elements
  • is incredibly easy to navigate, offering great user experience and increasing the likelihood of users converting
  • allows users to navigate jobs easily, and filter by sector and location.

Overall, a very nice and professional aesthetic has been achieved.

The Results

The website is live, and capturing leads for James Ray Recruitment. The team are easily able to add jobs to the website, which automatically get posted and formatted – ensuring consistency across the brand.

Job seekers are able to easily send their CV, apply for role or share vacancies with friends via messenger or social media.
