Frequently Asked Questions

Investing in your business is a big step, so make sure you're ready for it. The FAQ below contains some of the most common questions that clients ask. Have a browse through them and if you think we'd be a fit, get in touch.

YES! Many of my clients are amazing at what they do, but don’t know the online world. That’s where I come in.

However, you should have a good idea of who your target market is, and what your business goals are. It is helpful is you know budgets too.

There is no easy answer to this. It’s like asking “how much is a house?” The answer will vary considerably, depending on what you want in it.

For guidance, services typically start from:

Web Design and Builds – £995 for design, build and delivery

SEO – £500 p/m with a minimum 6 month engagement

PPC Management – Minimum of £500 p/m, or a % of total ad spend.

Yes, you will need hosting which is a place that stores your site. If you’re unsure what this is, think of it like this: your website is like shop, and hosting is like the land that it is built on.

I can offer high quality hosting as part of an ongoing site care plan, but you are free to find your own. I can recommend some providers if you’d rather go it alone. If you’re serious about growing your business, avoid cheap low quality hosting. The problems they cause outweighs their low cost.

There are all sorts of features that can be included. In the past, I’ve built:

  • online stores
  • booking systems
  • membership sites
  • and more!

The best way to answer this question is to book a call and discuss your needs.

Your site will be tested against the most common screen sizes, and will look great on the vast majority of screens including mobile and tablets.

There are very very few occasions where a device with a strange resolution can cause an issue.

For SEO or PPC related content, this is all included.

For web builds, this can be included as part of the proposal.

If you have content of your own, we can use this too. Just make it clear during our discussions so that your proposal and billing remains as accurate as possible.

Any web projects that have ever faced delays have been a result of clients taking a long time to provide content and images. They need to be given to me so that I can finish your website and get you online.

For SEO, the work I do will help you to climb the rankings. I have clients in the number 1 search spot for their targeted keywords and making large returns on their investment.

However, I cannot guarantee that you will always reach this spot. Your competition will also be trying to, and there are only so many places up for grabs.

If any agency “guarantees” that you will reach number 1, run a mile because it means one of two things:

  1. They’ll rank you for keywords that nobody is searching for, and you won’t increase website visitors
  2. They’re dishonest.

You can get these for £10 from Google Domains. I’d recommend that you buy this, but I can do it for you and transfer over later.

If you already have a domain that you want to keep, your new website can be transferred over after I’ve built it.

If you have existing SEO rankings to protect, let me know when we talk because you will need extra work to ensure that these are maintained.

I can advertise on any platform, as the principles are generally the same.

Most often, I use Facebook or Google (or both) because that is where most traffic is. There are other platforms available, and they can be utilised if they suit your business.

Great. Get in touch with me here, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
